Speaking of war in the Gulf, if we were gearing up for war with Iraq, where would we be shipping from? My guess is east coast, through the Mediterranean to Turkey and around the Cape to the Persian Gulf, but that's based on nothing more than geography. Maybe we'd be shipping out of LA? Would we be going south through Turkey, north from Qatar(?) (since the Saudis are finking out), both? Diego Garcia? Anybody know or have thoughts? General only of course, "loose lips sink ships."
