Hey Weenie! Hey, boy, what u been doin'? Bet u have not bought squat.

Ur Mom better?

Tell your Mom the coon family is doing fine.

Sad to report we lost a family pet last week. Our guinea pig, Patches, got real sick. Took him to the vet who said they couldn't do anything, that he needed surgery. Most would probably have put him down but I told Mrs. RR to find someone that will try to save him.

She went to 3 or 4 vets over a couple of days. Called all over the place. Finally found someone that might could do it, but the guy didn't really want to. He was like a contract vet for the zoo, didn't really have an office for family pets per se. We pleaded with him to do it. He finally agreed and did the surgery on Patches. Things looked pretty good for recovery, but several hours later he died in the arms of our youngest son.

Now he rests in the graveyard out front with our other pets over the years. He use to always make noises at me walking through the house. Loved his ears scratched.

RR family shed a few tears that evening.
