Okay, so what you're saying is that the Arabs have not changed constructively since 1967? That's been 35 years, quite a long time to not make much progress. I thought that some of the states have slowly been making progress.

An interesting link on demographics, the most interesting part of which, I thought, was Part Fourteen, which says that the Arab youth are "highly educated", by world standards, but not competitive with developed nations. It's the old folk that are illiterate.
