Oh, I can agree with all that. But it still doesn't change the fact that on the back of 4 buck quart of synthetic oil, the oil company recommends a 3000 mile oil change. Most of the over the counter name oils can go 5000 miles easy, non synthetic, and that's a 66% increase in oil savings. Jiffy Lube won't like you if you do though, they want to see you every 3000 miles or 3 months.
