Josh, True, and certain breeds have behavior bred into them ages ago that comes to the top at times. Most Chow Chows will attach themselves to one person, as they were taught my their Mongol owners thousands of years ago, and will fight any one, or thing that approaches in, what they consider to be, an offensive manner. Some say a Pit Bull is only as mean as it is trained to be, but I wonder about that. It seems to be inbred to some extent. I have seen some very friendly Dobies, and some that seem vicious, so it may have been their training that results in their attitude.
