Report from Best Buy.

Best Buy had a big advertisement here in St. Louis in the Sunday paper for Sprint Vision. Store opened at 11am. I was there at 11:05am and got the 4th and 5th A500. They only have(had<g>) 8 of them, so I think it safe to say they sold out in an hour.

Price was discounted to $249.99, plus they had 10% off coupons good for this weekend only, plus they gave a $100 gift card with each phone. Net cost for 2 was less than the $299 retail on sprintpcs.com.

The scene at the store was beyond comical. Cingular and T-Mobile reps were front and center at the wireless counter, waiting for everyone to maybe filter by after they checked out the real thing. While I was waiting, I sold three customers on Sprint<g>. The color screens are selling the phones!!!!!!

No camera attachments yet at BB. There is an insert in the A500 boxes for a free extended battery. The talk time for the A500 is not that great, only 2.5 hours, so this is really a necessity for any heavy user.

More later when the phone is charged and activated.
