So your answer is to let "malcontents" like Wang Dan or Alexander Solzhenitsyn be incarcerated for life, or killed by their governments so that pressure to change will be greater? :-)

It's not one lifeboat, huh? Do you want to import atmosphere from caves like where Perrier comes from? I live on the West Coast -- I can see the pollution from China on some days. Go ahead, put your head in the sand - silica probably isn't as bad for your lungs as creosote...
