Yes, the Japanese, have dug themselves into a hole, and decided to just continue digging - hoping to come out the other side. Of course, they'll hit magma first; but most politicians can't add, let alone know any science. By the time their done in Japan, there won't be a Insurance Company or pension plan solvent. p.s. I've heard that home safes are very popular in Japan.
