Your prognostication about VW40 is on the mark for the reasons you cited. But,IMHO its death rattle will be VERY SLOW in coming at least as it relates to a conversion to CDMA2000.

I will reiterate from my posts on the other threads: No country, no major operator, and no major US company has switched to CDMA. It might happen in the USA now that companies can be offered 1X.

The time to invest/re-invest in QCOM is not when the aforementioned switches become obvious to the market at large. I repeat, your prognostication is sound but where is the evidence no matter how non-obvious?
