Bored, so thought I'd revisit my mid August comments ....

Browns
Miller's injury hurts but may still take 2nd in division

Actually, with the way Stewart is playing, Browns may win that division.

Cowboys
May beat out Washington for 2nd in division

Ah, Cowgirls could still get second but only because this division like most, is one strong team and a bunch o Joes !

Tampa Bay
All their mouthy players finally have to produce, no excuses now.

Can't get a handle on Tampa yet; beat the Rams but CYO teams could beat the Rams this year. Guess we'll need more time to see.

NY Jets
Just an inkling; somebody in this division has to surprise, either Jets or Bills

Who the hell posted anything about the Jets being a surprise team ? Oh, me. Well, the Bills are looking good so I'm covered.

Indianapolis
Coaching change benefits this team a great deal; if James is healthy, could contend.

Not much to add here.

Houston
Weak division; could win 5 games

If these guys don't get too down and mail it in, they could still win 5. Defense can compete with anyone and starting to get a running game going. Both take pressure off Carr.

Green Bay
Favre, Green and not much else.

You heard it here first

Chicago
Last year was a mirage thanks to weak schedule; back to earth now

Could win their division; it's pretty weak

Redskins
OK, this one may be personal, I'd root for anyone playing against Spurrier.

Hope you all enjoyed our Birds making it None and Done !

New Orleans
Starting QB assembling media on opening day of camp to bitch about his contract is not exactly the foot to get off on.

Playing better than I expected early

St. Louis
Martz will find a way to screw up this season.

Hearing Taps; may they rest in peace ! Nobody deserves it more than Martz !
