I don't know much about that san business, but based on the situation we had in software, it looks like the landscape is too crowded. Once you get down to two, maybe 3 companies in each high tech space things look a lot better. Thats what happened in software. Its a race between sap, psft, sebl, oracle (apps) and a few, very few niche players. Same thing in comm infrastructure. It looks like there are too many san players to me.

I shorted CA, and RETK in software lately but covered. I was going to short business objects but chickened out.

There isn't much I can short anymore since my stocks are too low. I guess if you're a shorter, you would be shorting the semis here since the sox is the only thing holding up. Like sebl today, still in the 8s, how much more downside is there.... too risky for me.
