To the extent that you make decisions based on the best available data foregoing all tendencies to rely on "guts", to that extent you won't be a slob.

If you parse the sentence that you responded to, I was asking if you are stuck making bad investment decisions like the rest of us slobs. You know, like ringing the bell on JDSU in April.

The second lesson is that you can't be emotionally attached to money.

LOL!!! Insofar as I view money as representative of little slices of my life that I have sold off to others in lieu of what I would rather be doing, it is hard not to have some emotional attachment. However, that concept reminds me of the movie "The Tao of Steve" (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0234853). The main character has mastered the art of seduction by remaining emotionally detached from his desire for women.

Thanks for the tips, maybe I will somehow figure out how to make more than minimum wage someday.
