Rush and Yes were stylistically very different but both bands bass players had 4001 Rickenbackers wired in stereo which have the same clunky growling sound.

Did you know that if you use round-wound Rotosound strings on a new 4001 it voids the warranty? I can find no product information for the new 4003 model.
