Dimethaid raises $1.5-million through Acqua agreement 2002-08-12 09:28 PT - News Release Mr. Anthony Toderian reports DIMETHAID RESEARCH INC. ANNOUNCES $1.5 MILLION IN PROCEEDS FR ... Dimethaid has received gross proceeds of $1.5-million against the issuance of 508,475 shares of common stock pursuant to its private placement agreement with Acqua Wellington North American Equities Fund Ltd. To date the company has realized more than $19.7-million from the sale of 4,584,554 common shares. In January, 2001, Dimethaid entered into a 13-month private placement agreement with Acqua Wellington for equity financing covering the sale of up to $50-million of the company's common shares. The original agreement was recently extended beyond the initial 13-month period to Aug. 31, 2002, with a further option to extend until Nov. 30, 2002, at Dimethaid's discretion. Hi Fox; I hope that someone else recalls this as well, but I am certain that at the AGM in 2000 RK said publicly during the Q&A session that a US partner would be announced BEFORE FDA would. I understand that that was in 2000 and that things do change, but if this is still the intent, I would imagine we will see our Pennsaid dist partner signed and announced 1-2 days before we have an announcement on an approvable letter etc. Does anyone have a transcript of the minutes from the AGM in 2000? I was perusing the web site and could not find the video of the Q&A, only the Info package. I did find however that they have to update the 'facts' page of their site which claims that 'THE COMPANY: Dimethaid Research Inc. (Ontario) holds Canadian patents to transdermal delivery technology and PENNSAID®; holds Canadian distribution rights to WF10 and related products; and owns 20% of Oxo Chemie.' F-35
