I agree about the NYT political leanings Yeah, but you're a member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.-g- Is there actually anyone who is in the center anywhere? I think not, because there is no center. But if there were, surely it would be a person who voted Republican half the time and Democrat half the time. Or maybe even voted for a third party one third of the time, and the main parties one third of the time. Registered Independent, never worked for a political party in his life, never contributed to a party. Just individual candidates. But if you're the kind of person, who, when you don't know anything about the person running, vote reflexively for a party, or if you are a registered voter for one party, then you can't be in the center. I doubt very much that JohnM has ever voted for a Republican in his life. But maybe he'll correct me.
