Opteron being pulled in?

This quote:

Indicates Clawhammer late this year and Opteron in January of 2003 (the roadmap calls for Opteron in "H1", which usually means June).

If Opteron is out in January, that may let AMD slam the door on any chances for Intel's non-X86-compliant Itanium to ever gain a foothold in the 64-bit space.
