Good point...Both of them! And re center...We are divided so much in the center, it maybe just the reason that nothing is getting done in DC....The voters seemed to want that "center line" ... and they have it. What is happening is "argue, augue, fight, fight, bicker, bicker, spat, spat, TV press conference...oops time to leave on our-many-times-a-yearback-to-see-the-voters-break..."

What got done? Nothing much.

Centrist Democrats ain't in the center, either.

Oh, I'm not arguing they are; I'm arguing that somewhere north of the Rockefeller, big business, Republicans and south of the centrist Dems is where the center lies and it's where all the national political campaigns are fought. Who can get that bloc of voters to move their way.

That's Washington Post territory, New York Times territory, Time Magazine, the four major network news stuff, etc. Mind you, I'm not arguing that it's not political, sorry about the double negatives. I'm simply arguing it's the political center.

Your husband is definitely not in the center; I'm definitely not in the center; from your posts, I doubt you are. You sound more like an anti-big business Republican.
