In your poor example you left out the fact that JXM has no conviction on his purchase. Because I am a trader now, does not mean that I haven't also at times been a buy and holder and that I won't be again. I just don't believe in buying and holding on to stocks that are going down. As a matter of fact, I held CSCO long for several years and only sold it this past June (though I did sell calls against it every month). But it is pretty clear that you did miss the point. Any respect I had for you has just plummeted about 300%... I'm devastated.
