I'm surprised that Sprint didn't include at least one handset with a camera in their otherwise outstanding selection of devices in their rollout, rather opting for an attachment, something, IMO, that does not lead to spontaneity in picture taking as the bulbous looking camera would have to be carried separately

There is a Sanyo like this scheduled for Sprint with the camera on the back. No details on when.

I agree this is the preferred setup.
