I think it's fair and accurate to say that many on the right think that many on the left are traitors just because of their political beliefs, and that especially after 9/11 these people thought it was very unpatriotic to criticize Bush or the Bush administration. Maybe so. But I think most righties make a distinction between reasonable dissent and outright lies, partisan distortions, libel and crackpot conspiracy theories masquerading as dissent. IMO, with freedom, all freedoms, comes also the responsibility to exercise that freedom responsibly. When we have our service personnel in harm's way that means exercise of those freedoms should not be conducted so as to give succor to our enemies.......
