Duke, I can't speak for Glenn, but I doubt he disagrees with you about Phil Gramm.

Now, I'll have to go back and read everybody's posts again to see if I can get the gist of the argument that's developing here.

Sure is hard to keep everyone calm around here. <gg>

Hi Duke.

((Do you feel that anyone who has a short non bs opinion that disagrees with you is only one poster?))

Oh no, not at all. But I've participated on many forums where differences of opinion are respected. And when I offer perspective that is sincere and which I have expended much effort to learn, and all of a sudden I've got 5 handles just blasting my opinion, well, it just seems a little "weird". But if you're not ahahha, I'll take your word for it. No offense meant.

((I started to read that long meandering response you gave as sort of a pseudo-intellectual rambling dissertation))

I'm just going to highlight every time someone slams my opinion based on extremely emotional language. I can't help but feel it says far more about the poster than it does about the validity of my opinions/perspectives.

((My post is clear, simple concise and to the point.))

... Yes it was. Thanks for that.

Well, we concur on the moral integrity of Phil Gramm then. I guess we do have something in common.

((THIS IS YOUR REPONSE?))

Umm, no, that wasn't my reply to your post. As I stated in my reply, I'm on holidays and don't presently have access to research materials. When I do, you'll have my reply. Oh tae?

((People that bs should be called on the carpet IMMEDIATELY. They are the enemy of clear thought. ))

Hang on. In a democratic society who defines BS? You? I think your inclination for "a single, undebatable truth" is more that of a fascist society than that of a society based on democratic pluralism. But then, that's probably just more bs I'm spewing. So let me beat you to the punch and call it that. :)

Regards,
Glenn
