Just FYI...

An interesting response to the URL you posted about Rick Santelli. Call me crazy...but I like reports by Rick Santelli. I admire people who really enjoy their work, and who are exuberant about life.

From the above post:

"He may never have traded a bond (an assertion I'd certainly doubt, as in past positions he certainly must have hedged with them), but the second part is patently false. Among other things, Santelli traded interest rate futures, currency options, and unspecified T-bill and gold derivatives: all of which are tied inextricably with both Treasury and corporate bonds.

And while I also strongly doubt that he "never traded anything in the pits," how would being an upstairs trader lessen the value or pertinence of his experience?"
