Among the many advantages of my move is that my dear one enters the door about 40 minutes earlier than she used to. Today went pretty well, so I am encouraged to return to semi- normal posting (I still have distractions and need to share with my son more during the summer). Anyway, see you folks later!

I think many people who talk about the harm religion does, only say that to balance out the general attitude that there is no harm. I have always stressed that fanatics of any type, religious and non-religious, are what I most fear. Although I do fear the intolerance group behavior can breed- and even non-fanatics can fall prey to that, I'm afraid.

If kids are really hearing a message of tolerance, that is good. But not all churches have that message- I think that is all we secularists are worried about, when it comes to the religious. I certainly wouldn't care if people were religious, if I didn't think it could harmfully impact my rights.
