Kool polvo-mon...It is a great town. You can't really get the true feel until you wander downtown on a weekend night. The great thing musically is that there is some top flight unknown playing on any and every night here...Monte was very crowded so we wandered over to the Gourds show..same deal...further down the path we found the great local act "Tribal Nation" laying down the funk / reggae at Flamingo Cantina..for 3 bucks you get da monster bass, the sweet harmonies and that kickarse horn section oddly enough I was on Lake Travis sunday afternoon. I don't normally launch on weekends but this was different...school is about to start, cutting way way back on laketime Iguana is supposed to be OK...the Oasis is pure chit on the food front, but a killer viewski. I have a jumping cliff that's a real crowd pleaser just below the Oasis next time we'll get plucky :)
