"My point above was that Bush did not pay back the loans as you claimed"

I missed your point then. Provide the details of the transaction and I will comment on it honestly. Someone on the internet stating something I have not heard or read in the news does not get instant credibility. I thought your point was that he got a perk from his business that most of us do not, which is and will be true in the future.

"I wonder if the fact that your side so often spins and misrepresents the facts ever causes you any pause"

Any side that spins gives me plenty of pause. When I look at the examples in the news vehicles that I have access to, I see a lot more on the dem side. When I repub does it I do not condone it like so many of the dems do for fellow dems.

"Or is your enemy-like hatred for the other side enough for you"

I have no "enemy-like hatred" for the other side. I have "enemy like hatred" for those who chastise and smear with no cause. I see the dems do this a lot. Read a few recent quotes from Terry McCaulif for examples.

"I thought Clinton should've resigned for the good of the country and for the good of his party"

Excellent. So did I. Can't accuse you of hypocricy.

"However i also thought the Republicans had no cause to impeach him"

We differ here. The top law enforcer in the country should not lie to judges to save his ass. Like I said, we differ here. Set a horrible example for the country imo.

"Ironically the backlash against impeachment might've actually been good for the party"

It probably was. Sad commentary I think, but most likely true.
