This is a day trading thread, Nick.

Staying nimble means you don't have to give a rat's ass about the big picture. Besides, who can predict the future anyway? Predictions are like assholes, everyone's got one, LOL (for what it's worth, I actually think you're right).

You'll be back. The allure of the public threads is just too powerful.

Sorry to hear you set the bar so low for the month of August. I said earlier that August would surprise many to the upside, and from the looks of your 9250 ceiling, it will surprise you as well.

Take care my friend, stay healthy and prosperous.

Someday I am sure we will meet again.

Hi Nick, that is the most bearish prediction I have seen for the Dow, I can't believe that the economy is that bad and if it is, we wouldn't have Government intervention to correct it. Things seem to be stabalizing with the quality companies and we may drift sideways for a couple of quarters but I am changing from the doom and gloom camp to more positive. I have been sitting on cash and shorting some but have started to buy to take a position, definitely not all day trades but some long term have pretty good potential. Take care John B.

Nich , In regards to your last post Aug 12 ,

The Major Turn Cycle has appeared quicker than anticipated.
It was today's close, Monday, August 12, 2002, 4:00 pm. at 8688 on the Dow.

What does this mean?, the Dow will NOT surpass 9250, hence, we may chop
1 to 3 more days, but we will begin a slow 2nd Plunge downward spiral that will reach
DOW 5800- 4800 between December 31, 2002 - March 31, 2003 or earlier.

Per my work , we are within a few trading days of the point of recognition. 9250 is now only 200 points above, which should be surpassed by next week . I said earlier, we would rally beyond everyone's expectations . It's been a good run so far since our entry on July 24th.

Back to my hole

So much for chopping for 1 to 3 days. We have been rallying ever since your post. Such dire predictions are silly imho.
