This Novak column is quite interesting. As I've said before, Novak has extraordinarily good sources in the Republican Party. So I would take all this to the bank.

But, on the way there, I would hold a little petty cash out on the side because Novak is and has been very much against an attack against Iraq. He has consistently warned it would make matters worse.

So, while he has no record of slanting things to reflect his views, at least in his columns, and I see nothing here to suggest it, in all those spaces in this column in which he leaves himself free to introduce his own voice, it's definitely his own views.

Another reason I read him regularly.
