COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Hecla Mining Co. (HL) on Monday said that, to conserve cash, its board of directors elected to defer the Oct. 1 quarterly dividend payment to holders of the company's Series B cumulative convertible preferred stock.
