Dan, It's also the Intel corporate climate. Peer pressure. Politics. Can you imagine an Intel employee that has a 2gig P4 at home, going out and buying a AMD XP 2000 and walking in to work the next morning and telling someone the AMD system does circles around his P4 system? Ain't gonna happen. Steve

Will Itaniums next generation, the "strike three" be out before these: newisys.com What will the form factor for a quad processor strike three Itanic be? Will it fit in a 3U, like the quad processor Opteron? Or will it need 7U, like the strike two Itanic? hp.com
