The name of the stock is incidental. Yes, you are correct, I am not overly enamored with the said stock. So find a stock that we both like and I still think that it is better to buy at cheaper prices. But this may be tied to my emotional attachment to money.

Maybe he means something different when he uses the term "major bottom",

I do believe that the optical plays like JDSU, SCMR, NUFO, have put in major bottoms. A long term investor can buy and hold these companies with expectation that they will achieve killing returns.
They say no one rings a bell at the bottom. The question is whether the bell is rung if there's no one there to hear it. I, alone, am left to tell thee that the bell is rung. Do you want to hear about how you can get in on a killing?
