I think most of the current Iraqi population was born under Saddam's rule. Consequently, I don't think they are likely to rise up in revolt -- like Castro's Cubans, most of the populace has been indoctrinated from birth, and know little about alternatives. Dissidents have either died of old age, fled, or been killed. If we expect to rely on an internal revolt, we probably need to spend about 20 years dropping radios and leaflets on them first. I'm surprised I haven't seen more discussion of the extent to which Saddam has, over many years, developed the devotion of his people. JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)

The administration or Pentagon has already leaked plans for an invasion with about 250,000 troops and massive air strikes.... How do you think Saddam will be removed? " Ask the good citizens of Texas which has executed more people than the rest of the country put together....and if I'm not mistaken , most of those were while Bush was Gov.
