So anyway, after visiting there, I now agree with those who oppose developing the area. It really is hallowed ground now. Just turn it into a large open park, complete with memorials and a miniature replica of the WTC pre-9/11.

Tenchusatsu, I agree. I also believe it should be a national day of remembrance. I think all the people who experienced 9/11 will be forever scarred by the horror. Even now, plane travel is down 10-15% and travel by foreigners is off 20%. I do not look forward to the one year anniversary.
