but what he totally overlooks is the financial environment with credit, banking, currency, investment capital, and international capital flow in which the seedbed of technology opportunity must operate in for the realization of the next stage of evolution

right now, that environment is the worst it has been in 70 years
great and thought provoking article, undeniable powerful points
but all in time, not today, not tomorrow
and worse still, maybe not in the USA first

With all due respect to the bubblehead author (not much), I personally find that article to be complete and utter nonsense. Sounds like a bunch of Gilder type crap. Financial bubbles aren't beneficial to society, no matter how great the Technological innovations and advancements may actually be. Sell that crap somewhere else!
