soften the death penalty provisions??

what ARE you talking about? you are the same Democratz that screamed about only two out of three convicts getting the death sentence in the James Byrd murder case. You would not be happy at a free BBQ.

...still working on the "softening" the death penalty deal for you....Let's see...maybe we can give them some "how do you feel about this" classes before their sentence is carried out? Or how about letting them come live with you?

He stood up like a leader should. He did what the law told him to do. Want to change the law? Fine, then the good people of Texas can do so, but until then, they expect the law to be followed.

The Bush crowd thinks Death is their friend.

You can see the major players are very comfortable with death on any scale, up to and including Ashcroft's Armageddon and Rumsfeld's megadeath calculations.

It's simply a political tool - the "Politics of Death".

Starting with Texas Suicides, on through threatening the rest of the world with secret mass assassinations of agents of the "axis of evil".

Supreme Court Justice Scalia believes it's the God-given right of the State to meet out Death, and that we should worship the State as God's instrument.
