I have escaped getting 2 traffic tickets just by being very polite by saying things like "yes sir" and "no sir" and cooperating and not complaining. The cops may have just felt bad about ticketing a nice guy and just handed back my license and registration (after checking them) and told me to be careful. I didn't curse at them until I was driving off but at least I didn't get the points on my record.

I have never talked my way out of a ticket and don't even try to anymore forget the chitchat, go straight to the offer of sexual favors, works much better.

Mike 1 aways be polite 2 by the time the cop gets to your window have your licsense and registration in your left hand offering to cop 3 when the cop says do you know why i pulled you over,you answer YES if at this point the cop does not hand you back your papers,you chime in with (pick your family member) is a cop. I have always been given a pass at this point, the few times someone asks where , i say boston, in my case this is true as all the cops in my family came with my wifes family,but i have never been asked for a name. cops familys all over the country get away with this behavior.. i live in mass, but this works just as well in Florida
