long more HBC 7.30 this am now owner of 20K..HBC is a good valuation play it is a real company with real products and real people accounting for 7.5% of total canadian retail sales..pays 4% dividend..4.78 billion in assets and trading at 20% of book value!! NO comparison with crappy companies like NT and GLE

Sure HBC looks cheap as well.. but the short term debt of $1B is very worrying. Although there is no comparison between both biz, I mutch prefer GLE.
