Absolutely. The test of a true leader is whether he has the guts to take action AGAINST the polls when necessary. This is what made Clinton & Carter such horrible, weak leaders, and why Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II are such excellent ones.

Yousef, so then, by your standards, Hitler was a great leader. He didn't take any polls either.

In fact, you'd have to put Saddam up there with the great leaders.....he didn't take a poll either when he invaded Kuwait.
