I have been noticing an interesting trend in my area wrt real estate. It appears to me that there are more houses with "For Sale" signs out front than there were in August of last year, and I am now beginning to see "For Rent" signs on some of the ones that have been listed for a while but have not moved. Suggests to me that houses are not selling, people are getting desperate and are being forced to rent instead of sell. Trouble is, I'm not sure anyone is renting either.
