What can I say......you think Nixon and Bush were/are great presidents

Nixon was a liar. In that respect, he was no different from Clinton (one can argue that Clinton's chronic lying was worse than Nixon's, but a lie IS a lie). But Nixon did have accomplishments, while Clinton had none.

Bush -- well, it remains to be seen. So far, he has been impressive, and certainly has brought absolute integrity to the office, which is important.

As to the polls, I don't give a sh*t. They are so manipulated to get predetermined results that I literally disregard them. I think Bush does too.

Ted, Re: <you think Nixon...great president>

Nobody thinks Nixon was a great president.

The line at the time was Nixon was the one in '68 and he'll be a bigger one in '72.

The Democrats could have run the 'Yellow Dog' and got more votes in '68 than 'The Hube'.

And they could have run him again(the yellow dog) in '72 instead of that Pot Smokin' McGovern -- who I voted for -- and he'd have won again -- as would Muskie.

'Nixon was so crooked they had to screw him into his pants in the morning.'
