Thanks for the link to the Amnesty documents, CB. I recommend everyone take a careful look. They are precisely as I recall reading them sometime back. They are, of course, a serious reason for a US campaign against Iraq on human rights grounds. But that won't happen. Because that has not bothered the US in the past; because the US has done little or nothing to stop human rights abuses, etc.

It is, however, something that all of us need to keep in mind when we are thinking about our own views of whether the US should preemptively attack Iraq.
