Hi carranza2; Re Debka and Stratfor.

Go back and look through today's posts. The whimsy from Debka is all anyone can talk about. The numbers from the US Dept. of Defense which demonstrate that the reserves are being deactivated are never even once mentioned.

I think it's ridiculous to spend huge amounts of time discussing an article that describes something that is very likely fiction, but ignoring hard facts.

If we were in the process of invading Iraq by cutting it up like a salami, (LOL!!!), there would be articles all over the planet on it. The Iraqi ambassador to the United Nations would be screaming bloody murder. I mean really, the s--- would have hit the fan. Instead, what do we have? Nothing, not a damned thing, except a story from what can only be accurately described as a web site that talks about imaginary playmates.

Before the US helps the Northern Alliance take over in Iraq (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! LOL!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!) there would have to be air sorties all over central Iraq. CNN would be reporting on bombs over Baghdad. Print guys would be sneaking across the Iraqi border with Turkey.

I mean really people, get a grip. There is no Iraq invasion. Not only that, but the US is not preparing for one. It's what people need to believe, an imaginary playmate.

-- Carl

P.S. And if I'm wrong, you're going to be able to tell me that I was an idiot. But the fact is that a hell of a lot of the posters here were saying (along with Pravda) that the Iraq invasion was going to happen in May. Since then nothing has improved diplomatically in support of a US invasion. It's dead as a doornail.
