Metavante still has no way to deliver ebills. For now it looks like any bank that wants to use Metavante has to have INTD's "least cost" routing system so that they can receive ebills from CKFR and route payanyone transactions to CKFR, Metavante or RPPS. I'm thinking that only large (stupid :) banks will want to do that. I'm guessing that this will be Metavante's strategy (help banks implement the least cost routing system) and CKFR will get into that business, too.

Maybe that's why Pete was so bank friendly in this CC<

CKFR's advantage will be that the bank can "have it your way". Want full service? CKFR can do it. Want "least cost routing"? CKFR can do it. Want to go from one to the other? CKFR can do it. Why fool with Metavante?

I would imagine that Wells would immediately spin off Metavante if they swallowed M&I.

Benny,

I thought you might have insight into these questions.

Why am I no longer able to change the ebill payment amount?

Anyone else receive ebills from Exxon Mobil Mastercard where the account balance always shows as 0 even when there is a balance?

Anyone else frustrated with CheckFree customer service reps where they don't even answer the question?

I've include the correspondence with CheckFree below:

Thank you for writing.

We regret that the option to change the payment amount when paying an e-bill is no

Please pay the listed amount for the e-bill by clicking the Pay box next to the e-bill
on the E-bills page. Then, to schedule additional payments, please use the Make Payments
link next to the biller on the E-bills page. This link will allow you to choose the
payment amount and the payment date.

We hope this information is helpful, and we apologize for any inconvenience this
may have caused.

Original Message (from me):

The minimum payment due is $15.00 on my Exxon Mobil ebill account. Your service does
not show the account balance which is $199.92. I am attempting to pay the full balance
of $199.92 but your service will not let me pay anything in excess of the $15.00
minimum payment.
