Contrary to what the Sheiks think, it is morality that causes societies to disintegrate, not immorality. Immorality is what builds strong vigorous peasant warrior societies that overcome, more hidebound, moral, civilized but effete societies.

One may define morality for this consideration as rule bound-ness. The more organized structured and policed a society is, the more moral. Also the more slothful, the less creative and the less vigorous and progressive. Huns, Mongols, were not moral. Alexander's army was not moral. Their mores were confined to their goal, to conquer. All other activities justified as moral that were in fact to other eyes as wanton. Hitler had the
same argument against the US. It was racially mixed, disorganized and lazy.

But the Nazis had one flaw. They were too moral. they did not form a conquering mentality because of this. Also the States was extremely immoral or rebellious and unbounded compared to the rule based German. Therefore his soldier, properly equipped and trained was more creative and dangerous to the over organized troop. Ergo despite the US troops vast disadvantages on every front, his flexibility stood him in good stead.

The English used Irish troops for centuries all over the world. They made a good soldier because the rules of their society were very loose and the soldier could adapt to the insular and shocking culture of war far better.

Yes, they(radical Islam) forgets that just because someone(the west) doesn't share your moral code & law doesn't preclude them from all morals and laws.
