well, it seems our discussion has devolved into a kind of meta-argument. if you look at my past couple posts to you, you'll see that about 90% of each post was not about the meta-argument (which i only mentioned in passing, really, but now regret), and it is the 90% which is of more interest to me. so we can discuss those subjects (e.g., the validity of DCF-based approaches to stock valuation; the implications, if any, of options expensing for the market [a valid issue if you think the market could go down as a result, regardless of whether you think options expensing is "right"]) if you're interested. but let's skip the meta-discussion.
