you have gone down in my estimation with that ... i'm sorry to hear that, Maurice. How come the collective investment IQ was near 200 and now, having lost their shirts, the mindless Zombies are claiming that they didn't have a brain, but were automatons in thrall to Uncle Al? your argument seems rather hyperbolic. if you really want to discuss these things, you need to look at what the other side is saying and not just caricaturize their arguments. specifically, i'm talking about the arguments Greider was making. you seem to think that if anybody criticizes Greenspan, they are taking no responsibility for their own actions. i believe that is not the case. in order for the bubble to happen, it was necessary for many people to participate. but it is unfortunate that one of those who drank the kool-aid was Greenspan. of course, if your purpose is not to really discuss these things, but just to promote your "Mindless Zombie" thread, then perhaps you are taking a reasonable approach already.
