T ,get divorced -g- lobby them for more options. I suppose you can get your diversification with other funds where you have discretion - your $ and non 401 k $ . My friend took a new job and did not like the 401 k options so he chose not to participate. He has IRA $ and sepca ( he had his own business for a while) $ in gold stocks. mike

keep the bonds, because if inflation rises so will your return, and if they fall the yield will be much better then anything your going to get. I bought my tips at 99 they are at 119!

check to see if they have a short-term treasury money market fund.
