Thanks - but really, I was just stalking Nemer since his 48 point win on the ES so I could pick his brain! Stocks and I don't interact much anymore - the ES gives me a month's worth of stock chart patterns in a single day (except today after 13:30EST which sorta reminded me of the internuts hitting escape velocity and the Euro did a little down dance a little later which I'd been stalking too).

Dan,

Here's you another PALM:

"Wednesday August 14, 6:12 pm Eastern Time
Reuters Company News
S&P says to drop Vitesse, add Travelers to index

NEW YORK, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's on Wednesday said it would drop Vitesse Semiconductor (NasdaqNM:VTSS - News) from its benchmark S&P 500 index and replace it with Travelers Property Casualty Corp. (NYSE:TAPa - News) "
---------------------------------------

btw They put VTSS into the index in December 2000 at $60 and are now taking it out at $1. Does that say anything about the judgment of S&P and the index funds? That is a complete loss practically for the index funds. $60 pile in to pile out at $1.

Not to mention. What good is the SP500 index as a market gauge when they do nonsense like this?
