Maybe, the Iranians are busy building their own bomb, and they don't want Americans around to interfere with their WMD program. Maybe the Saudi's have developed a dangerous subculture, that would prefer nuclear desolation to non-arab "interference". Anyway, I bet the Saudis and Iranians feel that if things get really bad the U.S. will come to the rescue. So Why rush things?
