Those examples of killing may have been triggered by psychosis, but the killing of other people either by an individual or by state policy may not be. There are many ways to justify killings, some of which may make sense and some don't. People have always done it and always will. That's why I said it's part of human nature and needs to be acknowledged and dealt with. Citing lists of wars, mass murders, etc, doesn't mean much to me -it's more like "so what else is new," because changes in the human condition such as increasing prosperity aren't going to change human nature.
