We humans are often quite nasty to one another. How many students are in your largest class? 30? 100? 200? None of them related to each other, most of them strangers to one another. Some from other parts of the world. Next time you are in class, look at all the boys and girls sitting nicely and politely side by side, no fighting, no fornicating, and try to imagine another species of mammal that is capable of that. I can't think of any. Certainly not our closest relatives, the great apes.
